Arkansas students learn to distinguish fiction from history
VILONIA, Ark. (AP) — Daniel Cockrell, a youth education coordinator with The Department of Arkansas Heritage, told fifth-graders at Vilonia Elementary School that the movie “Gone with the Wind,” set in the South around the time of the Civil War, is fictional.
