Charles Elliott is the new Columbia County administrator for the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

Elliott was promoted to his new position on Oct. 5 after the retirement of Rodney Rowe. Elliott was formerly economic service county supervisor in the Columbia County DHS office, a position he held since May 2004.

Despite facing several challenges since acquiring this position, Elliott said that his first month as administrator has been good.
