The second suspicious house fire since Monday destroyed an abandoned house Thursday night.

At 7:18 p.m., firefighters with the Magnolia Fire Department were dispatched to battle a blaze at a house located at 715 Cummings St. which is located south of Plum Street near Burnt Bridge Road in the southwest part of the city.

Magnolia Fire Chief Greg Pinner said that the owner of the house is listed as Bobby Gentry.
