Wrong-way driver hits van, five killed
BAY (AP) — Five people were killed when a van carrying developmentally disabled adults collided with a vehicle driving the wrong way on U.S. 63 in Craighead County.
The Wednesday afternoon crash claimed the lives of three of the people being transported, as well as both drivers. Five more people in the van were injured. The disabled adults were being transported from a center in Trumann by Focus Inc., a Jonesboro-based nonprofit organization that serves disabled adults in northeast Arkansas.
