Scott White welcomed more than 125 people to the 14th Columbia County Celebration of the National Day of Prayer held on Thursday, May 7 at Central Baptist Church.

Laura Long sang “On My Knees" and then boys from Cub Scout Pack 32 did the presentation of colors.

Prayers for the nation, state, county, city and university students were voiced by Pastors David Watkins, Barry Nall, Tom Miller, David Lovejoy, Jeffers Jefferson, Col. Walter Smith, Travis Jewell, and Greg Parks.
