Christy and Cruncher Gant of Texarkana, Texas, announce the birth of their son, Carson Reid Gant.

He was born at 8:48 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He weighed eight pounds, 14 ounces and was 21.75 inches long. He was welcomed home by his brother, Corbin Reese Gant, 3.

Grandparents are Dorothy and Ricky Contratto of Magnolia and Dave and Lin Gant of Vancouver, Wash.
