The American Bankers Association called on bankers nationwide to implement the “Teach Children To Save” program to encourage 1 million students across the country to adopt a lifestyle of saving.

Farmers Bank & Trust’s employees and officers participated in this ABA program by visiting various local classrooms to teach students lessons that focused on saving basics, prioritizing needs versus wants, how interest makes money grow and how to create a budget.
