Today's agriculture means jobs 'beyond the farm gate'

MAGNOLIA — When Katherine Dockter graduates from Southern Arkansas University, she wants to help financially struggling communities cultivate sustainable agriculture programs, possibly through the Peace Corps.

To do that, she’ll need training that wanders beyond a knowledge of how to grow crops — though that will help, too.
