Alumni Bridge links Welcome Center and stadium

Workers from Key Construction prepare to pour a concrete footing for the new Alumni Bridge at Southern Arkansas University. The new pine bridge will span the creek between the Welcome Center and Wilkins Stadium. It will be 10 feet wide by 60 feet long. Unit Structures will build the wooden portion of the bridge. Concrete landings on either end will allow the bridge to be tied into sidewalks. The total cost of the project is approximately $60,000. The existing bridge is shown on the right.
