Fire at refinery

A retention pond at Cross Oil Refinery in Smackover caught fire due to an oil film on top. Smackover and Norphlet fire departments responded to the blaze, which began between 10 and 11 p.m. on Friday. No injuries were reported and there was no damaged reported to the actual refinery.
