LITTLE ROCK (AP) — A House committee has advanced a bill that makes it a crime for someone to knowingly let someone under 21 consume alcohol on their property.

The House Rules Committee on Wednesday advanced the measure by Rep. Fred Allen on a voice vote. His bill makes “social hosts” subject to criminal charges if they knowingly allow someone under 21 to consume alcohol.
