Investigators had no new information today regarding a body that was found Tuesday morning near Emerson.

Attempts to contact Lt. Kevin Booth and Columbia County Coroner Randy Reed this morning for more information on the case were unsuccessful.

Investigators are awaiting autopsy results for Geno Perdue, 42, of El Dorado. His body was found by co-workers at a salt-water well injection site, located on Columbia Road 26 west of U.S. 79.
