Concrete work begins at Emerson school site

Emerson-Taylor Superintendent Gary Hines updated school board members Thursday night on the construction progress of the new Emerson High School building.

“They will start in the morning (today) pouring concrete for the slab and for the middle, triangular-shaped center. They will pour in three sections with the center section poured first. Then on Monday they will pour the east section and finish with the south section later in the week,” Hines said.

According to Hines, all concrete slab should be poured by the end of next week, provided that the weather is suitable. Log-In to view full story or view our Registration Guide.
