Magnolia Mayor Parnell Vann announced tonight that Glenn Proctor, a 28-year veteran of the police force, will immediately assume the role of interim Magnolia Police Department Police Chief, but declined to comment on the circumstances surrounding the departure of long-time MPD Chief Robert Gorum.
