Eunice Faye (Williams) Hines
Eunice Faye (Williams) Hines passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1933, in Columbia County to Franklin and Hazel (Morris) Williams.
Eunice was a server and giver all of her life. Not just for family but through the various jobs she held throughout her life before finally retiring as a nurse’s aide. She sacrificed and did without to give to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and any other person she thought needed help in any way through the years. She had a huge heart of love, God’s grace, and compassion for others. Eunice always looked forward to attending the music ministry each week at Wentworth Place. Eunice was one of those special ladies who was well liked by all who came to know her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; husband, Truman Hines; and one brother, Gene Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa Kersey and husband Edward of Magnolia, Paula Lafferty and husband David of Magnolia, Barbara Johnston and husband Wayne of Emerson, and Don Hines of Magnolia; grandchildren, Magen Jack and husband Cory of Parkers Chapel; Abby Williams, Matt Young and wife Lynn, and Brandi Chisholm and husband Cody, all of Magnolia; Sarah and Lori Johnston of Haynesville, La., Cody Clark and wife Kadie of Southhaven, Miss., Thomas and Katherine Kersey of Forney, Texas, Laura Justus and husband David of Tijeras, N.M., Keren Besler of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Martha Hines of Shreveport, La.; great-grandchildren Adelyn Carter, Sydnee Chisholm, Bailey and Katlin Eads, and C.W. and Jordan Young, all of Magnolia; Alexis, Ashlyn, and Brody Clark of Southhaven; and Dylan, Eva, Caden and Lena Justus of Tijeras; a special niece, Nita Singer; nephews Chuck Hines and Mike Singer; cousins Burl and Carolyn Campbell; and special friends Linda Montgomery, Betty Burns, Toy Lee Milton, and Thelma Glover.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 31, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kyle Callaway and Bro. Milton Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Emerson under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Visitation will be Friday, August 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Honoring Eunice as pallbearers will be Chuck Hines, Danny Hines, Mike Singer, Bobby Morris, Phillip Pryor, and Ronnie Pryor.
