Della Mae Henry, 87, of Willisville, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Detroit, Mich. She was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Willisville to Will and Pinkie Lowe-Wallace.

She received her education in the Sweet Home School District. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Willisville, and was employed at Nevada School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curtis Henry; two children, Brady Lee Blake and James Lee Henry; four sisters, Otha and  Elma McKinney, Versie Mae Beasley, and Gladys Wesley; one brother, Sam Oliver; and one grandchild, Renrick Harris.

Survivors include her children, twins, Pearl “Sonny” Henry of Willisville  and Merle Collins of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Lee Versie Madison of Stamps; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Willisville, with Rev. Donald Radford officiating assisted by Rev. Edward Smith Sr. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery at Willisville, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes, Inc., of Stamps.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the funeral home.
