Just a light dusting of snow was all that most Columbia County residents received from a large storm system that moved through the area on Christmas Day. Much of the snow had melted away by Wednesday morning.
This map from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department shows statewide road conditions as of 11:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Columbia County residents received a "White Christmas" Tuesday night as snow fell across the area, but escaped severe winter weather that left hundreds of thousands of other Arkansans without electricity.
