Bernice Ferguson, 81, of Little Rock died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Baptist Health Medical Center of Little Rock. She was born Nov. 7, 1931, in Magnolia, daughter of the late Freeman and the late Mozell (Jackson) Green.

She is survived by four daughters, Doris L. Gash of Hawthorne, Calif., Elsie V. Ferguson of Magnolia, Gloria Thomas of Camden, and Marilyn A. Davidson of Melbourne, Fla.; four sons: Waffer Junior Ferguson of Magnolia, Theartis Ferguson of Little Rock, Tony Ferguson of Easton, Pa., and Andrew Ferguson of Magnolia; five sisters, Louise Jones of Camden, Mary Washington of Stephens, Patricia Washington of Magnolia, Virginia Wyrick of Dallas, Texas, and Linda Kay Harper of Magnolia; three brothers, Jesse James Burton of Saginaw, Mich., Marcellus Washington of Dallas, and Freeman Jr. Green of Tennessee; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one aunt.

Visitation will be from 12 noon-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Henderson’s Mortuary.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Trinity CME Church with Rev. Theartis Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Twenty-Third Psalm Cemetery, Columbia Road 30, Magnolia, under the direction of Henderson’s Funeral Service.
