The average retail price for a gallon of gasoline in Arkansas decreased 1.1 cents in the past week to $3.56 per gallon. The national average increased 0.6 cents to $3.80 per gallon.

The national average increased in large part to a gasoline shortage in California, where prices at some stations soared to over $6.50 per gallon, and the state average hit $4.69.
