There has been some very lively debate on our Facebook page from last night's vice-presidential debate in Kentucky. Here are a few of the comments from our readers:

•"I hated [Joe Biden's] laughing in such a disrespectful and demeaning way. It seemed like something a kid would do."

•"Amazing how they are calling Biden rude. What...did Romney do last week in his debate? It's ok for one to interrupt, but not for the other guy?"

•"The debates are important, but I don't believe this one changed any minds. Biden exceeded low expectations. Ryan wasn't quite as clear and eloquent as was expected. They both had the disadvantage of having to support positions that aren't always their own."
