Caution: Multiple vehicle accident blocks 79/82 and Main intersection

Yes, it’s hard to see, but pictured above is what’s happening right now – 9:30 p.m. – at the intersection of Main Street and the bypass. Details are still sketchy, but according to witnesses (and scanner chatter), three to four vehicles were involved in the collision. It is unknown at this time if any physical injuries are involved, but ambulances and rescue vehicles – as well as multiple law enforcement officers – are on scene. Exercise caution when passing through the area until law enforcement can clear the scene. It’s dark out, and there are several MPD officers directing traffic around the intersection – please drive slowly!
