Farmerville, La., teacher arrested over allegations of sex with student

A Farmerville High School teacher remains in jail on multiple charges including allegations he had sex with one of his male students, reports the AP. The News-Star reported that 29-year-old Xavier Frazier, of Ruston, was booked with simple battery, sexual battery, five counts of molestation of a juvenile, three counts of prohibited sexual conduct and three counts of prostitution by persons under 17 years of age.

Frazier was arrested last week and ordered held in lieu of $105,450 bond on Monday. It couldn’t be determined if he has an attorney. Police said an investigation began after a 16-year-old boy talked with officers. Frazier has been suspended by the Union Parish school district.
