Former President Bill Clinton says he will put up a $2 match for every $1 donated to his foundation this week, reports the Associated Press.
In a letter Tuesday sent out by the Clinton Foundation, the former president says he will provide the match for donations made through Saturday. Clinton established the foundation as the anchor of his post-presidency work.
The organization performs a range of services — from providing treatment for people with HIV-AIDS to helping small businesses in developing areas to helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The foundation has been in operation for 10 years.
