In an interview with the Talk Business website, Ark. Gov. Mike Beebe said he does not believe President Barack Obama (D) will claim Arkansas in the 2012 election. He noted the president’s low approval rating in the Natural State and his 2008 loss in Arkansas to Republican candidate John McCain. The state’s six electoral votes won’t go to Obama, predicted Beebe, but the governor said that he will “probably” vote for the president.
