Our sister newspaper, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, is providing instant updates from the hearing for the West Memphis Three today. We’ve provided a link to that outstanding coverage below, and we welcome readers to share their opinions on whether or not Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley and Jason Baldwin should be released or remain in jail for the 1993 deaths of three young Cub Scouts. The boys’ naked bodies were found in a West Memphis ditch. Echols was sentenced to death. Misskelley and Baldwin were ordered to spend the rest of their lives in prison. Defense attorneys, celebrities and legal experts have said the men are innocent.
