The FBI says agents are still looking for those who took Caddo Indian artifacts from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia in 2006, reports the Associated Press.
The 26 vessels worth an estimated $100,000 were discovered missing in August 2006 as SAU officials were preparing to return them to the Caddo Nation in Oklahoma.
FBI spokesman Steve Frazier says no arrests have been made.
SAU research archaeologist David Jeane told the Texarkana Gazette that whoever took the items had a key because there was no forced entry to the locked room where the items were kept.
The items date to the mid-1500s. They were discovered in 1980 along the Red River in Lafayette County by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees who uncovered a Caddo Indian burial ground while working on a river containment project.
