Today’s the day . . .

Today’s the day we’ve been working toward for months: the unveiling of our series examining the disappearance of Mary Jimmie ‘Bobo’ Shinn, and although we won’t start putting those additional extra photos on the Blog until later this afternoon, we will provide our faithful Blog followers with at least one in advance of the newspaper’s arrival this afternoon. Stay tuned for that post – it’ll be coming in just a few minutes.

In the meantime, we can tell you that today’s Banner-News includes not only Bobo’s fascinating story, but also the details of a shooting that left one Magnolia man wounded, the comments of SAU President Dr. David Rankin in El Dorado last week on the university’s projects, the judge’s reaction to progress made by defendants in Thursday’s session of circuit court and a high-speed chase involving CCSO deputies . . . and lots more.

Let’s just say today’s Banner-News is once again jam-packed with local news. Look for links later today on our Facebook page!
