A preliminary report by our friends at the Camden News advises against cashing payroll checks from Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express, both located in Camden. The newspaper reports that check-cashing facilities in and around that city have already been advised that the checks are bogus, and one of the business owners has advised that similar phony checks may have been used in and around Magnolia. Those checks could resemble those of fast food restaurants, the business owner said.
