Arkansas State fires Steve Roberts

Steve Roberts, head coach of the Arkansas State University Red Wolves, has been fired, reports the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Roberts, once a coach at Southern Arkansas University, has led the Red Wolves through two consecutive losing seasons. Rumors are already circulating that possible replacements could include North Alabama Coach Terry Bowden, ASU Offensive Coordinator Hugh Freeze and Arkansas runningbacks Coach Tim Horton.
