Bad Dad of the Week Award

Hands down, the winner of the Bad Dad of the Week Award goes to Michael W. Jones, 42, of Liberty, Miss., who collected donations on behalf of his cancer-stricken son and then spent the money on narcotics for himself. According to an Associated Press article, Jones has been charged with felony theft by fraud and is being held on a $10,000 bond. An investigator confirmed to the Natchez Democrat that Jones really does have a sick son, which makes the story that much worse.
