Rankin performs, speaks in Hot Springs Village

We were happy to receive the above photo and related update from Fourth Congressional District candidate Beth Anne Rankin, of Magnolia. We like to keep our readers informed of what’s happening on the political scene, particularly when it involves a local resident, and according to Rankin’s campaign, she held a concert Tuesday at the Coronado Community Center in Hot Springs Village. Rankin not only performed as a vocalist and pianist, she also “spoke on the fact that the country is going in the wrong direction.”

A press release from Rankin’s staff said, “Rankin said she wants to return the United States government back to the basics set in the U.S. Constitution. Other topics she addressed included repealing and replacing the health care bill pushed through Congress this year, stopping illegal immigration, controlling runaway government spending, and keeping taxes low.”
