Roads? Where we’re going, we need roads . . .

Yes, so the headline to this post is an obscure reference to a line in one of the ‘Back to the Future’ movies, but the fact is, Arkansas does need roads, says Dan Flowers, director of the Arkansas Department of Transportation. According to “The Case for Capacity,” a report just released by the department about the need for improved highway infrastructure, particularly in rural areas like ours, “increasing capacity on our nation’s transportation system will unlock gridlock; generate jobs; deliver freight; access energy; and connect communities.” To read the entire report, which calls for hundreds of millions of dollars in road improvements over the next several years, follow this link:
